IWC celebrated its 140 year anniversary with Pilot Watch Vintage Collection that comes in 6 watches belonging to different collections. Though this is not a “rounded” anniversary, the company decided to celebrate it with truly fantastic watches. These watches symbolize the landmarks of the company’s development. The “oldest” watch from this series is the model with manual-wound 98300 caliber (18 jewels, power reserve of 46 hours). This model is a re-make of an IWC Pilot Watch model that was released in 1936

These 6 fantastic watches have been brought back as vintage watches from the IWC proud history into the modern day. The IWC  Watch Vintage Series does not include copies, in fact IWC never made replicas of its watches. The vintage watches are more like new interpretations of good old watches that were incredibly popular in the past.

The watches from jubilee series are equipped with ultra-modern automatic IWC movements that are used in many other IWC models. The movement of watches is based on 98 Calibre that is known as the most famous IWC calibre.

Some of the modern versions of old models now have a bigger and a more impressive case. Due to this peculiarity the new models are easily distinguishable from the older ones.

The vintage IWC Pilot watches are available in unlimited numbers in stainless steel with black dial. Also there are platinum versions with a silver-plated dial, that come in a limited edition. Platinum watches come in an ornate leather case.
